Office of Space Management
The Office of Space Management (OSM) at Oregon State University is responsible for the strategic oversight, coordination, and stewardship of space across the Corvallis campus. OSM ensures that university spaces—offices, classrooms, research labs, and support areas—are effectively utilized to support OSU’s mission of teaching, research, and engagement. The office leads space planning efforts, maintains accurate space data, develops standards and policies, and provides guidance to colleges and administrative units on space needs, allocation, and future planning. Through collaboration with university leadership, facilities teams, and academic partners, OSM promotes a transparent, data-driven approach to space decisions that align physical resources with institutional priorities.
