Acquisitions
The Leasing & Strategic Real Property Management Department is uniquely positioned to assist throughout the acquisition process.
If you’re an OSU affiliate and wish to acquire commercial real estate or if there is a property you think OSU would be interested in acquiring, please contact us.
Dispositions
As stewards of all OSU’s real property, we can aid you in the disposition process of selling or transferring real property.
Easements
Our team manages easement and encumbrance information for OSU, both easements for outside entities to access OSU property and easements granted to OSU.
To inquire about easements on a particular property or to inquire about the parameters of an easement, please contact us.
Gifts or Donations
If you have real property you are considering gifting to the university, please contact the Planned Giving Team at the OSU Foundation.
Leases
The Real Property Team works closely with requesting departments to create the most accurate agreement for your needs. This is a multi-step process requiring collaboration with multiple stakeholders across the university.
Temporary Research Rentals
Departments arranging temporary housing for student researchers may request a template for a Temporary Research Rental (TRR) agreement. Please communicate early and often with our department to work through this multi-step process.
Complete the form with as much detail as possible and submit it to our office for review PRIOR to sending it to the landlord/owner. Please allow our office at least two weeks to complete the TRR agreement.
